Why it matters
This is where Phase 6 comes together. A team wants the brand's chat assistant to follow the brand guidelines more reliably. You'll fine-tune candidates, evaluate them the way a careful team would, decide whether to ship, and document the result: the same workflow, at miniature scale, that labs and companies run before releasing a tuned model.
What you'll be able to do
- Run a release review: train a candidate, evaluate it on every criterion, and apply release gates
- Diagnose a failed candidate and fix it by changing the training data
- Explain why a single headline metric, or a raw loss, can hide regressions
- Write a model card that records what the model is for, how it was made and how it scored
